School Board
The Avonworth School District Board of Directors is comprised of nine members. Each member serves a four-year term, and elections are held every two years, with five members elected in one cycle and the remaining four in the next.
What is a School Board?
School boards are part of Pennsylvania’s statewide public education system. Each of Pennsylvania’s 500 school districts is governed and supported by an elected board of officials that holds certain assigned responsibilities and authorities.
