Welcome Back, Avonworth Families!

We look forward to welcoming our students back to school soon!

As you drive by the secondary campus, you may wonder if the building will be ready for the scheduled start of the 2024-2025 school year on September 3, 2024. Although work will continue after the beginning of the school year, we are pleased to report that the work that must be completed for us to start the school year will be completed on time.  

After students return, there will be some finishing touches needed in the high school; however, the renovations needed to start school will be complete. The auditorium and middle school addition will be the primary locations for construction through the fall. The project is coming together, and we can’t wait to share the completely finished product with the school community later this school year.

Teacher Assignments and Schedules

Teacher assignments and schedules are available in Alma. Any updates, including bus information, will be made by Thursday, August 22, 2024. 

We must have the most up-to-date parent/caregiver contact information in our student information system, Alma. Please review your information and update it if necessary.

Transportation

Transportation information is available in our student information system, Alma. 

Once logged in, parents/caregivers can click on their initials in the upper right-hand corner, click "My Info," and locate bus information under the "My Students" list.

Food Service

The lunch menu for every school will be available online. Menu items will be posted closer to the start of school. View our breakfast and lunch menu. 

The National School Breakfast Program will provide FREE breakfast for all students during the 2024-2025 school year. In addition, the National School Breakfast Program will cover the cost of lunch for all students who qualify for reduced meals. The free/reduced meals application is open for the 2024-2025 school year. Visit our website to learn more and apply.

Athletics

Last year, the District partnered with Hometown Ticketing to make purchasing tickets and season passes more accessible for our families and students. Ticket information and additional information related to fall athletics will be sent in a separate email soon.
