Instructions for Schools, Parent Groups and Booster Organizations

Our district's PTAs, booster groups, and clubs can use Peachjar to send flyers for free. To do so, the organization/club should have an individual added as a Volunteer District Uploader by emailing Dr. Jillian Bichsel (jbichsel@avonworth.k12.pa.us) with the following information:

  • Organization name (i.e., Primary Center PTA)
  • The individual's name, email address, and role.  

After receiving this information, the individual will be added as a Volunteer District Uploader.  If the person doesn't already have a Peachjar account, they will receive an email to set up their account.  If they already have a Peachjar account, they will now have the ability to upload a flyer distributed through Peachjar to any building in our school district. 

To post a flyer

  • Log in to Peachjar www.peachjar.com and select "Send Post Flyer."

  • Select your desired school(s).

  • Create a flyer using Peachjar's flyer templates or upload your PDF flyer for approval (file size must be smaller than 6 MB).

The flyer is then automatically submitted to the district for approval. Our District’s Assistant Superintendent will review the material and approve or deny the flyer based on the standards described below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online.  

Once your flyer is posted to a school’s Peachjar site, parents can view on there. Each school has a link to the relevant Peachjar site in the icon section of the school's website. Additionally, your flyer will be delivered to all parents’/guardians’ emails as an embedded image, not a link. This means parents will immediately see your flyer and be able to click through to your website to sign-up for an event or to learn more information about your organization and the event.

Please note that out of respect for our parents/guardians, we want to limit the number of emails they receive. Therefore, the Avonworth School District will review, approve, and distribute flyers via Peachjar only once each week.  Our goal is to send flyers at the end of each week. Therefore, please be cognizant of the amount of lead time needed to ensure your flyer is distributed with the desired amount of time before your event, registration for a league or event, etc.
