Free Breakfast

We are pleased to announce that Pennsylvania will provide free breakfast for all students during the 2023-2024 school year.

State funding will also provide free lunch to all students who are eligible for reduced-priced meals during the 2023-2024 school year.

Students who do not qualify for free or reduced meals will still receive free breakfast, but will have to pay full price for lunch.

Did you know children who eat breakfast are more likely to behave better in school, have fewer absences and incidents of tardiness, have improved attention spans, memory & problem-solving ability, and have improved academic performance?

Allergies and Special Diets

The school nurse will convey student allergy information to the cafeteria. This information is added to the student’s cafeteria account. Per Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations, bottled water is not permitted as a substitute for milk in the National School Breakfast & Lunch Programs. Students may request a cup to obtain water from the water fountain and/or select fruit or vegetable juice (when available) as part of their meal.
