We are thrilled to announce that Mary's Gate, an Avonworth Community Food Pantry, has received a $1,000 donation from the Pittsburgh Regional Food Services Directors (PRFSD). This generous contribution will support their mission to provide food and resources to families in need within our district.
A special thank you to Melissa Schad, ASD's Food Service Director, for nominating this wonderful program. Mary's Gate runs a free Grab & Go lunch program and operates a food pantry on the last Saturday of each month at Assumption Church, offering bagged lunches and essential items to families in need.
We are proud to partner with Mary's Gate in supporting our students and their families. Thank you, PRFSD, for your commitment to the well-being of our community.
