Avonworth School Board Members Honored by PSBA

At a recent meeting of the Avonworth School Board, two longtime members were recognized by the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) Honor Roll program for their years of dedicated service to our district and community.
Board President John Brandt received recognition for 10 years of service, while Board Member Pat Stewart was honored for an outstanding 20 years of commitment. Both were presented with certificates acknowledging their dedication to students, families, and public education.
The PSBA Honor Roll has recognized school directors across Pennsylvania for more than four decades, beginning at five years of service and continuing in five-year increments. This tradition highlights the essential role of volunteer school directors in shaping education and supporting communities throughout the Commonwealth.
We are grateful to Mr. Brandt and Mr. Stewart for their leadership and for the many ways they have positively impacted Avonworth students and schools.
