ASD Strategic Plan Steering Committee

Dear Avonworth Parents and Caregivers, 

The Avonworth School District is embarking on a Strategic Planning Process, and we are seeking parents/caregivers to participate in this critical process. This strategic plan aims to define a collective vision of success and set goals in priority areas.

I invite you to contribute to this process by serving on our Strategic Plan Steering Committee, which will include school leaders, students, parents, and community members to represent diverse viewpoints. We are looking for ambitious, visionary, and collaborative members for this team who will assist us in synthesizing and making informed recommendations for the future of our District.

We understand schedules are busy, but it is essential that our Steering Committee members can attend most, if not all of the meetings below. Please note attendance on January 22 and January 23 is critical. 

• December 5, 2024 from 6:30-8:30 PM
• January 22, 2025 from 7:00-9:00 PM
• January 23, 2025 from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• February 6, 2025 from 6:30-8:30 PM
• March 20, 2025 from 6:30-8:30 PM
• April 10, 2025 from 6:30-8:30 PM

Please ensure you can attend a minimum of four of the meetings, including January 22 and January 23 before applying.

All applications will be reviewed by a committee of teachers, students and administrators who will not be able to see the applicant’s name. All applicants will be notified whether or not they were selected on November 22, 2024.
