Kindergarteners Explore the World of Mammals

The Kindergarteners at Avonworth Primary Center recently enjoyed an action-packed morning learning all about mammals. After studying how plants and animals grow, they concluded their unit with an engaging presentation from Fern Hollow Nature Center.

Students had the opportunity to identify animal tracks and scat, examine real animal pelts, and discover the fascinating world of bats through hands-on exploration.

This special visit was made possible through the support of the Avonworth Fund for Educational Excellence, which for the second year in a row has helped fund this incredible learning experience for our Kindergarten students.
