Exploring the Future of Engineering with NoRILLA Mixed Reality Learning at APC

students in the classroom

At APC, we’re proud to announce an exciting collaboration that’s bringing cutting-edge educational technology into the classroom! In partnership with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), students in Jana Stahl’s STEM class (grades K-2) are engaging in an innovative learning experience using NoRILLA Mixed Reality Learning (AI). This hands-on, immersive approach allows students to explore engineering concepts in a way that’s both fun and impactful.

Through NoRILLA’s interactive learning modes, including “Play,” “Test my Tower,” and “Compete,” students are introduced to the Engineer Design Process. These modes allow young learners to build, test, and compete with their creations, making abstract concepts tangible and engaging. The activities foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills—all essential components of STEM education.

As part of this unique opportunity, we are thrilled to have NoRILLA’s Founder, Nesra Yannier, providing expert guidance to our students. Nesra’s insights into the application of mixed reality in education are helping to enhance the learning experience and provide a deeper understanding of the engineering concepts at play.

The NoRILLA Mixed Reality Learning platform is more than just a tool; it’s a gateway to the future of education. By combining hands-on learning with advanced technology, APC is offering students an early introduction to the world of engineering that will inspire them to explore and innovate in new ways.

Stay tuned as we continue to explore new frontiers in education with NoRILLA and prepare our students for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow!
