APC Connects the Arts with Science

Students at Avonworth Primary Center experienced a special performance of The Next Galileo by the CLO Gallery of Heroes. This musical entertained and deepened their understanding of Galileo’s discoveries in science and math.
In February, students in the Investigations and Library classes explored Galileo’s contributions through books, experiments, and discussions. This prepared them for the performance, which blended history, science, and music in a fun, interactive way. The show reinforced classroom lessons, connecting the arts with STEM to show how creativity drives scientific discovery.
At APC, we aim to inspire curiosity and critical thinking! The collaboration between the Investigations and Library classes and the CLO Gallery of Heroes is a perfect example of how merging subjects enriches education.
