Junior Earns Second Place in MLK Unity Breakfast Essay Contest

Rapp with award in hand

Naomi Rapp, a junior, earned second place in the MLK Unity Breakfast Essay Contest sponsored by La Roche University. Students were invited to respond to the essay prompt, “How have you or could you actively work against violence to positively influence your community?”

Naomi’s thoughtful and compelling essay stood out among submissions from students across the region. She was recognized for her work at the MLK Unity Breakfast held on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, where she received a certificate and a monetary award.

We are proud of Naomi for using her voice to reflect on peace, service, and positive change, and for representing our school community with insight and integrity.
