A group of Avonworth Elementary School students, along with Mrs. Edwards and Dr. Battistone, recently presented at the 59th Annual National Association of Pupil Services Administrators (NAPSA) Conference in Pittsburgh.

Their presentation, “Bridging Student Connections,” focused on the purpose and impact of the Bridges program—an initiative designed to strengthen connections among students, teachers, and staff.

Students shared what the Bridges program means to them and spoke about their favorite Bridge Day activities. They also led a “get-to-know-you” activity for conference participants, modeling the same sense of community and collaboration that the program fosters at AES.

Presenters included (from left to right): Mr. Battistone, Malika Abouwafia, Lyla Dixon, Vada Panuski, Alex Anderson, Aidan Wotus, James Gallucci, and Mrs. Edwards.
