Personal Student Cell Phone Expectations Update

In an increasingly connected world, you may send your student to school with a cell phone, a smart watch, or other similar devices. Student cell phones on the elementary campus will be turned off and stored in their backpack for the duration of the school day. Smartwatches, or other similar devices, may be worn, but they should be set to school, airplane, or silent mode to ensure they do not distract from the learning environment. If a student's watch is used for communication purposes (making a call or sending a text), they will be asked to remove it and place it in their locker. Repetition of misuse of these devices may result in increased administrative intervention.
