Instructions for Schools, Parent Groups, and Booster Organizations

Updated May 2021

Our district's PTAs, Booster Groups, and clubs can use Peachjar to send flyers for free.  To do so, your organization/club can have an individual added as a Volunteer District Uploader by emailing Dr. Jeff Hadley with the following information:  organization name (i.e., Primary Center PTA), the individual's name, email address, and role.  After receiving this information, the individual will be added as a Volunteer District Uploader.  If the person doesn't already have a Peachjar account, they will receive an email to set up their account.  If they already have a Peachjar account, they will now have the ability to upload a flyer distributed through Peachjar to any building in our school district.

To post a flyer . . .

  • Log in to Peachjar www.peachjar.com and select "Send Post Flyer"

  • Select your desired school(s).

  • Create a flyer using Peachjar's flyer templates or upload your PDF flyer for approval (file size must be smaller than 6 MB)

    • Ensure your PDF flyer meets all guidelines listed below (specifically contact information and contains our district’s required disclaimer)

Your flyer is then automatically submitted to the District for approval. Our District’s Assistant Superintendent will review the material and approve or deny the flyer based on the standards described below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online.

Once your flyer is posted to a school’s Peachjar site, parents can view your flyer through the PeachJar logo on the school website. Additionally, your flyer will be delivered to all parents’/guardians’ emails as an embedded image, not a link. This means parents will immediately see your flyer and be able to click through to your website to sign-up for an event or to learn more information about your organization and the event.

Please note that out of respect for our parents/guardians, we want to limit the number of emails they receive. Therefore, the Avonworth School District will review, approve, and distribute flyers via Peachjar only once each week.  Our goal is to send flyers at the end of each week. Therefore, please be cognizant of the amount of lead time needed to ensure your flyer is distributed with the desired amount of time before your event, registration for a league or event, etc.

All flyers must meet guidelines detailed in the Avonworth School District Flyer Policy Guidelines detailed below.

All flyers are approved by the Avonworth School Districts Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Jeff Hadley, via Peachjar prior to distribution.

  • Programs, activities or services detailed in flyers must be beneficial to the educational, emotional and developmental needs of Avonworth School District students.

  • The material in a flyer must not advocate a religious or political viewpoint.

  • The flyer must include the following disclaimer which Peachjar automatically adds to flyers from outside organizations:

    • The Avonworth School District does not sponsor or sanction this program/event/activity.  The Avonworth School District is not liable for any injuries that may potentially occur.

  • The flyer must be in PDF format, smaller than 6 MB and four pages or less.

  • The flyer must contain the name and contact information of the sponsoring entity.

  • The flyer must contain clear and legible text in at least size 12 font or larger.

  • The flyer MUST NOT be a scanned or photocopied document.

Flyer approval does not constitute an endorsement. Approval simply means the material has been reviewed and meets the guidelines for district-wide electronic distribution. The district reserves the right to rescind approval to any organization or person if a complaint is received or the organization or person is found to be in violation of instructions from the Avonworth School District.
