In the 2018-2019 school year, the Avonworth School District will be transitioning to a new grade book system. The previous system, edline, has been discontinued by its parent company, Blackboard. This is also the reason we transitioned to a new website as our old website was hosted by edline.
The district will be transitioning to go.edustar as our new grade book system. Over the first couple weeks of school, we are working to ensure parent data (emails, phone numbers, etc.) are correct in our student information system, ProSoft. You may have noticed during curriculum nights that we have been providing parents with an opportunity to review their current contact information in ProSoft and make corrections, additions, deletions, etc. As we gather this updated and corrected information from parents and guardians, we are working to enter and/or correct parent contact data in ProSoft. This is critical because go.edustar will be pulling the parent/guardian email from ProSoft to send parents a username and password.
Once we have had the chance to update contact information in ProSoft, our technology department will have a parent login (username and password) generated in go.edustar and an email will be sent containing this information.
If you have any concern about your contact information being correct in our student information system or have a need to update your contact information at any time during the school year, please contact your child's school office.
