Avonworth Elementary PTA


The Avonworth Elementary PTA serves both the Primary Center and Elementary School buildings. Our PTA members, along with our excellent faculty and administration, support a variety of initiatives that benefit the students, teachers, and school through a combination of donations, volunteering, spearheading events and fundraising. 


The 2019-2020 PTA Board:

We are excited for the new school year to begin.  Please consider attending the first PTA meeting on

Tuesday, September 10th @ 7pm in the APC Cafeteria

Bingo Nights

Teacher Appreciation

After school classes

Book Fair

Library volunteering

Kindness Committee

Holiday Shop

Spiritwear sales

5th and 6th Grade Parent Group – coordination of fundraising for Camp Kon o Kwee and DC trips


Yearly Funding (in whole or in part):

Assemblies & classroom visits

Field trips

Field day shirts for each student, K-6th

Prizes for the 3’Rs initiative at APC

Books for each student, K-6th on Read Across America Day

Stipends for homeroom teachers for classroom supplies


Special Project Funding:

New risers for APC events

Funding for Calming Lounge at AES

Funding for STEM area in libraries
